３人は２４日に感染が判明した津山市の２０代男女と１６日に会食しており、県は県内７例目のクラスター
クラスターの３人は、津山市在住の２０代女性教員、勝央町内の２０代主婦と同居家族の未就学男児。県内の飲食店で１６日、計６人で会食した際に感染したとみられる。同席した県外の１人も今後、居住地でＰＣＲ検査を行う。同町在住者の感染確認は初めて。
クラスター以外の２人のうち１人は津山市の介護従事者の５０代女性で、勝央町の主婦の親族。別の日に主婦と食事したという。もう１人は同市の自営業の５０代男性。１５日から東京都や千葉、福岡県を訪れたほか、２０日には北海道で仕事をしており、県は県外で感染したとみている。

クラスター（感染者集団）が発生している津山中央病院（津山市）によると、同病院の入院患者１人と医療従事者１人が含まれるという。
At 「吉備の里」 では入所者１３人のうち６人と職員４人の計１０人の陽性が確認された // 入所者の多くは認知症のためマスクを着けて生活することが難しい上、職員は入浴介助などで入所者と体の密着が避けられないといい、クラスター発生後、感染への不安などから職員の退職が相次ぎ、２４日にはホームを閉鎖した。陰性だった入所者の受け入れ先は、県や総社市の調整によって何とか確保できたものの、同市の担当者は「感染が複数施設にまたがっていたら、行き場のない介護難民が出ていてもおかしくなかった」との見方を示す。
