Kannon Waterfall
滝谷池の下流約200mの東側に深い谷を望むところがあります。
この滝は、その最深部にあり、うっそうと茂った木立の中に岩肌をのぞかせながら、約15mの高さ(２段)から滝つぼに清流が流れ込んでいます。
真夏に冷気をさそうこの男性的な滝も、秋色づいたもみじの葉の間からは見せる姿はひとしお美しさが増し、心をなごませてくれます。

岩塊を侵食した溝状の滝口から一気に落下している。滝壷は姫子淵といい近くの平らな岩盤の上には観音様が祀られている。（別名：祖母の滝、滝谷の滝）

滝谷の池に駐車、そこらら歩いて20分。ちょっと険しい山道を降ります。

The Kannon Waterfall, also called Takidani Waterfall, is about 20 minutes from the lake. It is a cool refreshing place in summer. The walk down is a little steep and you should take care of snakes in the forest. Best wear rubber boots. There are also two of the Henro Places near the waterfall.
